There are two main recycling networks: EPS and PS

Thanks to crushing or simple fusion processes, the EPS packaging can easily be transformed into new EPS parts or into polystyrene tablets.

In 2009, the EPS packaging recycling rate in France was at 30% compared to only 7% in 1993. Two fish boxes out of three are recycled today.
With this result, the objective of 22.5%, collectively assigned to plastic packaging by the European directive “Packaging and packaging waste”, is easily reached.

In 2009, 20% of the recycled EPS packaging, clean & white, more than 1500 T, have bee re-used to manufacture new EPS products.

The other 80% of EPS packaging went in the PS network.

After selection and crushing, the beads are compressed into EPS blocs and extruded into PS tablets. These tablets are then used to manufacture plastic injection solutions.

To reinforce its status of an environmental material, we conduct important branding campaigns for all our EPS products.

We’ve started to write “100% recyclable” on all our molds to help us emphasize the message communicated by the logo and sensibilize the final consumer to EPS recycling.
